Our Mission

SpeedCheck provides a fast, accurate, and user-friendly way to test your internet connection. We believe everyone should have access to reliable tools for measuring their network performance without complicated setups or intrusive data collection.

How It Works

Our speed test runs entirely in your browser using modern web technologies. When you click "GO", we measure your connection by:

• Downloading test data from selected servers to measure download speed
• Uploading test data to measure upload speed
• Sending multiple packets to measure ping (latency)
• Analyzing timing variations to calculate jitter
• Testing packet delivery to detect packet loss

Server Infrastructure

Tests run between your browser and servers located in various regions worldwide. We utilize M-Lab's (Measurement Lab) open-source infrastructure for accurate, unbiased speed measurements. All calculations are performed client-side using modern web APIs.

Privacy First

We respect your privacy. Our service does not track your browsing history, store personal information, or require account registration. Test metrics are processed locally in your browser and are not permanently stored on our servers.
