How to Find Roku IP Address
Learn how to locate the IP address of your Roku device using the on-screen menus, your router, or mobile apps.
Finding Roku IP via Your Router
If you cannot access the Roku interface, check your router’s admin page for a list of connected devices. Many routers show hostnames like “Roku” or display vendor information, making it easier to identify the correct entry.
Once you locate the Roku in the DHCP client list, you can see its current IP address and, if desired, create a DHCP reservation so it always receives the same address.
Using the Roku Mobile App
The official Roku mobile app can also help. When your phone and Roku are on the same network, the app discovers available devices. Selecting your Roku in the app often reveals network details, including the IP address.
If discovery fails, make sure both devices are on the same Wi‑Fi network and that isolation features (such as “guest network” settings) are not blocking device-to-device communication.
